Our friend, contributor and fellow wanderlust warrior Christian is always telling us about all the cool travel content he’s catching on YouTube. So, we asked him to write up his favorites that he follows, and he’s delivered:

1. Kara and Nate: This adorable married couple from Nashville, Tennessee made a goal of travelling to 100 countries by 2020, and did so, while creating entertaining and informative content for their YouTube channel. You can see the joy radiate from their perfect smiles as they take their 1.3 million subscribers bouncing across the globe, with airline miles, credit card points, and other tips and tricks for traveling on a budget. They also started www.farefinder.com, a tool used to find flight deals and steals worth booking to scratch that wanderlust itch. Their relaxed style, friendly demeanor, and adventurous eating make you feel like you have known them for years. (Also, loved their Packing Hacks!)

2. Kraig Adams: Kraig Adams is a relatively new YouTuber and cinematic film enthusiast who creates beautifully silent, but inspiring, solo hiking videos. His travels have taken him on some of the most epic hiking trails the world has to offer, from Northern Iceland, to Patagonia, Switzerland to Nepal, and most places in-between. He captures his experience in a way that makes you want to sit, with coffee or tea, relax and just be inspired. A dog lover and hiking gear minimalist, he shares his tips and tricks for tackling these adventures on your own.

3. Geography Now: Geography Now is a YouTube channel that is one of my go-tos when researching a specific country or region. These guys take all the history, politics, culture, and food of a specific country and condense it down into a few short, extremely informative and entertaining, minutes that are worth a watch. It is the “CliffsNotes” version of NatGeo channel. J

4. Lost LeBlanc: Christian LeBlanc is a seasoned Canadian YouTuber who travels to some luxurious destinations with his girlfriend, Katy Esquivel. He also created the Lost Creator Academy, a “how-to-make-money-from-anywhere-with-nothing-more-than-a-camera-and-laptop” which entices content creators to take the risk, get out and travel, and be paid to do so. Lost LeBlac went from a broke backpacker to seasoned entrepreneur that gained 2.5M subscribers across all his Social Media platforms.

5. Expedia: the Expedia YouTube channel provides short, informative, colorful snapshots of regions around the globe, and gives just enough to whet your appetite to travel there. Always a go to when researching an area for an upcoming trip.

**There are TONS of channels and content on YouTube, these are just a few others I watch from time to time, but don’t know as much about:

6. The Endless Adventure: Greetings adventurers! We’re Eric & Allison, a travel couple on a journey to find the most interesting places and unique foods this planet has to offer! We’ve traded in our steady paychecks and permanent home for a life of travel and adventure. Come along and see the world with us!

7. EPIC Family Road Trip: Hello world, we are the van Stralen family! We are a family of 5 who sold everything except our Jeeps to drive around the World guided by our core values that had helped us find success in business and in life – WORK, PLAY, CARE. For us CARE means to “Create A Remarkable Experience” and we do this by leaving the people we meet and the places we visit a little better than we found them.

8. Jacob Laukatis: I am an Explorer whose goal is to inspire people to stay curious. I was born and raised in this tiny Northern European country, called Lithuania.

9. Gareth Leonard: Travel Deeper with me on my quest to travel like a local and go from Tourist to Townie, one mission at a time, to truly understand foreign communities through the people and culture that define them.

10. DownieLive: New Adventure and Behind-The-Scenes videos every Saturday. I don’t know where I’m going next, but I know I want you there with me, so subscribe to DownieLive and come along for the adventure.

Thanks Christian for sharing these favorites–and for getting us officially sucked in to the YouTube vortex! Happy summer viewing friends… let the adventures continue in all forms.
